Does anyone remember when the after Christmas sales were the big thing. Nothing ever on sale before the Holiday. When I was in high school we all used to try get on for Christmas help at Bullock's because you got first choice on the sale.

I already have most of my shopping done, mostly on Ebay and Etsy. I got myself a new outfit for Christmas online from Kohls for $ 37, hope it fits. Can't even imagine going into a store Friday but I'm sure I'll probably check out online deals at Amazon and a few other sites.

No thank you. Been there, done that....no longer interested and haven't been for many years.

I've never really been a black Friday shopper. I typically have my shopping done before then. I will look at emails. If anything catches my eye, I may look. I'm not in the market for anything.

@DiAnne, I remember that Friday after Thanksgiving the tree was up in the Walnut Room at Marshall Field's in Chicago. Loved that store. Yes, there were never sales before that day and not that much in December. You had to wait until the day after Christmas. I miss those days sometimes. ![]()

Don't get me wrong, I don't shop on Black Friday. I think I did once when I was in my 20's. However, if I can't get it on the Internet, I may be tempted to go out to one store. We shall see. I do most of my shopping online now. ![]()

Uh, Nope.
Not even online.
Going to lunch with a girlfriend.

Yes, I do!! My mother and I would go shopping the day after Christmas and buy so much on 50%+ off sales. There were no sales before Christmas back then.

Nope. Shopping is done. Most of what I purchased was online, and were things that I would probably never find in the brick & motar stores. At least not without spending days of hunting, and miles of traveling. And then, people get on my nerves too. ![]()
