or Cyber Monday to get some good deals and free shipping?  I know I am holding out for one item to see if I can get a discount on it & free shipping.  How about you?

I'm hoping for some cyber-deals on a few sites.  I find that many deals download Thanksgiving evening.

I am, too. There are a few things I need (such as a food processor) and might as well wait to see what I can get in the way of incentives!

I'm not holding out any hope that QVC will do much to get me to buy.

I just went through my secret storage area and I have everything I need for gifts for this Christmas.  I may start on next Christmas!

I got a great price last week on a navy Eric Javitz bag that is my present to myself!!

Not at all.  The phrase "Black Friday" remains but the concept is dead and gone.  Everyone started their Black Friday sales the day after Halloween.  We've been inundated with Black Friday since then.  So, the actual day won't be any different than the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  We've always stayed home and relaxed on Black Friday, we never got into shopping on that day even when it was something special and there were great buys to be had.  It was just too crazy out there!  We eat leftovers, watch movies, decorate for Christmas.  I find that the best buys are always in mid Dec. and even Christmas week.

As far as QVC, no. The "deals" are $5 off the same old merchandise which I'd already have if I wanted it.

I might be tempted on the iPad Pro deals, except the strong likelihood of new ones coming out in the Spring stops me. That's also most likely the reason the discount at BB & a couple of others is so steep - because new ones are coming. Saving $100-125 is good, but for a $700-800 device I want the latest for my $$.

I am in the market for a new TV but have specifics in mind. Still...BB *might* see me.

I'll not shop Thanksgiving weekend, as I no longer find it fun to be 'in the hunt' with all the crazies.

I will check out some sites on Cyber Monday, because it seems I do find good deals then (usually free shipping on some sites that I need items restocked for me!)

Nope, not really. I might look for a deal on a new microwave online, but I'm not desperate for a new one. Wild horses couldn't drag me into a major store on Black Friday, and besides, I'm convinced it's now all hype.
