Re: Is Anyone Interested In The Lenox TSV?

NM. I should know better than to share personal feelings here.

Well, I got up the courage to say something about how I really feel. There are threads and posts up now that are trying to encourage better relations between posters some of which you have participated in. In this thread you posted a reply to everyone, and I mean everyone, and skipped me. I'm not sure if this has to do with what happened yesterday with the other poster. Or if it's pure coincidence. I opened up and shared what I thought was some very personal information and something that I hoped you could relate to and even offer a few words of kind acknowledgement. I realize my hopes were for nothing. I'm pretty new and I have no footing here. It isn't a great feeling. That's all I'm going to say. I try to be truthful, even at the expense of me looking foolish to everyone. I said this before but I can see that I have to be satisfied reading from now on. If you and others want the board to improve it has to be inclusive to all. I hope everyone enjoys their Lenox. Watching the presentation brought back some very good memories for me.

I'm not interested in ordering, but I love the pattern and ordered the shower curtain in this pattern from Macy's a few days ago.

You can get a matching shower curtain, too? Wow. That will be pretty, gidget Smile

Yeah, Macy's online has the shower curtain, tissue holder, wastepaper basket, etc. I held it to the shower curtain.... for now.

I'm already thinking of the wastebasket...

No--it's too fussy for me. Plus way too pricey for just 4 place settings.

Gee, I think it's a good price for all those pieces. I think I counted six in a place setting.

I think it's a great price and I have loved this pattern since the first time I saw it many many years ago.

I finally broke down and ordered a set of the original color. I also ordered the pasta set to go along with it.

The many different size plates and bowls will work perfectly when I have the family over all the time during the summer. We have little ones that the small bowls and plates will be perfect for and then of course the larger pieces for the grown-ups.

I'm also really considering ordering the flatware that was on this morning. Those demitasse spoons are perfect munchkin size.

Re: Is Anyone Interested In The Lenox TSV?

I bought it fifteen years ago and have only had to replace one dinner plate because I dropped it.

I have never tired of it and do have the matching accessories. The pasta bowls I added within the last five years are slightly lighter in weight now than the originals. They were made in the states back then and now I see they are made in China. Hopefully, they are coming from a factory that pays attention to the same level of detail and will hold up.

I tired of just about every other pattern of china I had previously and was always looking for something durable, light in weight and festive. Coffee in the morning is always so nice in the pretty mugs and I also bought the smaller mugs for tea. I was just mentioning to my husband a few weeks ago how much I never tired of this set...

I hope everyone enjoys their set as much as I have mine. Smile

I am tempted to order the blue set to mix and match....

Yes, the price is right! Polish Stoneware is about $69 to $90 per plate!

I had the same idea you did about ordering some of the companion pieces. I did order the original set and will wait until I get them to decide on the others.

This is such a happy pattern! Smile

Noel, are the flowers the same on all the dinner plates? Because the older design each plate was slightly different and one or two flowers were predominant in the design. The cups also vary in design.

Hi SR Smile

My impression was that each plate had a different scene. I'll have to go look to make sure...

The demonstration with Carolyn this afternoon, they showed all four place settings and pointed out the differences.
