I've been away for awhile and have alot of catching up to do, but for now.....
Is anyone else having internet trouble today? I have tried to access many of my favorite websites all morning and I can bring them up, then they immediately freeze. This is the only website I have been successful with. I can't even get through to Amazon. Did a Windows troubleshooting--nothing found, rebooted my modem/router--no change, cleared all my cache, etc.--no change, checked my security--all good.
I'm going to call Brighthouse shortly.

@FLgardenerI'm in southern Florida also, but with Comcast. Still, this morning I thought my computer was dying! Incredibly slow and Amazon was much worse than any other site.
I was out for a few hours and now, mid afternoon, it's working better.

I think my problem is solved. After spending a bunch of time with a Brighthouse tech and installing and uninstalling browsers, getting confused, and finally doing a system restore to yesterday, I'm back to normal. WHEW!
