Internet Explorer Exploit - Stop Using

See thread in Electronics for further details. Anyone using internet explorer should stop using immediately. A security flaw was discovered. There is not fix for it yet. Of course, anyone still using XP will not get a fix, once it is released, because the OS is no longer supported by Microsoft. Here is am article about the internet explorer security flaw -- http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/microsoft-internet-explorer-zero-day-exploit-threatens-26-of-...

Thanks for the heads-up. Also, you can disable an add on flash player in IE that helps eliminate exposure to this latest vulnerability.

Thanks for posting this, Lynnj.

I try to stay away from IE - it is a such a substandard browser.

Hi, biancardi! Though it still has its fans (not sure why), I haven't used it in years. I, too, find it to be less desirable and much "buggier" than the others.

I think it has its "fans" due to a couple of reasons

a. if work related, it might be that the app they are running only works under IE well.

b. if not work related and people are not computer savvy, they just don't know how to switch it.

plus, people get used to a certain way of doing things. I always try to have several browsers, so I know the differences.
