I go out several times a week. Shopping with friends or out to breakfast or lunch or just running errands to the cleaners and the like. Today my husband and I went to lunch before we had some some errands to run. Our first stop was Chilli's. We were seated at small booth about 12 feet away from the hostess stand. I was facing the lobby and I would glance up and I saw at least 8 women ages between 30 to 40 something dress like the Housewifes of whatever. High heels, hair teased up, possible boob jobs, tight sweaters, lots of makeup, lots of glitzy jewelry, designer handbags. Their husbands with their leather jackets, buzzed or slicked back haircuts, not the norm for the central valley which is cowboy territory. Their kids ranged in age to toddlers to pre teen pretty much dressed like mom or dad. Adorable but overdressed. They didn't come together, if two families came in together they pretended not to see each other. Is this the new trend where you all live. Copy cat housewifes of the tv shows.
