You are absolutely right about that.
Also, what the wanna-be heroes conveniently forget is, in the chaos of everybody running to get away, it would be extremely easy to accidentally shoot an innocent person.

If I see a parked armored truck outside my bank, I don't go in and I move on. If that truck is robbed, don't want to be nearby.

Yes, there are a lot of crazies... and a lot of them are stirring up feelings of fear on TV and social media. There is a difference between being aware of your surroundings and living in a contant state of hyper-alertness. I recently saw a purse advertised that had a "concealed carry" compartment. Just stay home and shop on-line, if you are that terrified.
