Of course...that's how it's been for some time now.  IMO this is a terrible tragedy, but not necessarily something that needs 24/7 coverage.

This is a bit OT., but I've found going back as far as the 2nd Gulf War, that most American news media does edit or, worse yet is told to edit certain news. I watch BBC world news and get more info about American news interests than on Network or Cable news networks. 

It's a sad state but, true. We need to seek the truth anywhere we can find it! We can't just trust and assume we are being told the truth.

I find this to be a very rude respose.

How would you like it if you got these kinds of replies the next time you post another epistle about not geting a $3 shipping charge removed?  

I think it is very strange indeed that the hostage situation did not get significant air time.
