It sure is expensive! I have been stupid enough to use it twice! I couldn't figure out when to go to Krogers so I ordered and it cost the equivalent of the Louisiana purchase in today dollars!!

@Pinkroses2, a limited number of stores offer the Instacart service in this area, Costco is one of them. Just for the heck of it, I checked out Costco's offerings,  every single item I looked at on Instacart was priced $3-$5 higher than the same item in the local Costco store, then add the $5.99 delivery charge. The convenience is nice if you're sick or have a very busy life, which I don't, so I'll continue going to the store myself, it gets me out of the house for a couple of hours.
