Instagram Changes

[ Edited ]

I have Instagram on my Iphone and Laptop. I only follow my children, grandchildren & a couple of the QVC hosts  but no more than say 20 accounts all together.

This afternoon I was looking and I have all sorts of accounts I do NOT follow in my feed.  All of the QVC host are on there, accounts I would never follow because I have no relation or interest. (nothing lewd or stuff like that.)

The only way I can find to get rid of them is to go to each account and go thru the questions as to way I don't want to see them.

I hate it these companies(Meta) think they know what I want.

Ok, I'm done.

ETA;  I apologize for not specifically saying that the changes are on my laptop only. I knew ads and odd posts were on the mobile App and that's why I do not use it.

Sorry for any confusion.

They're suggested posts or ads.  Just do what you're doing to hide them or just scroll past them .

@Tori3569   These are NOT Suggested people to follow or Ads. They are actually in my feed as if I were following.

Yes, they're suggested posts, not people to follow.  Like this from my IG

@grandma2pkmh If you click on them you will see you are not following them.

@grandma2pkmh  No it's not.  Go into your settings to get rid of stuff you do not want to show.
