Seems like this should be pretty simple, but I can't figure it out.

 

On the Instacart app, you know how it keeps a list of things you've ordered in the past so that if you want them again, you can just click on them from your stored items?  


Ok, so how do you permanently remove them from the historical list?  Like you are never ever again going to order an item. Is there a way to permanently remove it so you're not always scrolling through items you are not interested in anymore?


Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

No help from me either, but now robocalls are put in their place, reminders are next up!  Who wants to reminded that they got that thing once by mistake?

I use Instacart and I don't how if you can do that.  It's a good question.  Although, it never ocurred to me to delete things I'm not going to buy again.  You could email their customer service to ask.

The only thing I could find is to click YOUR ITEMS and then scroll down on the right hand side is a window with an arrow and select SORT BY MOST FREQUENTLY BOUGHT .... OR....SORT BY MOST RECENTLY BOUGHT and it should place the seldom purchased item at the bottom of your list......

It might be "buyer beware" where Instacart is concerned.  This is on the CNN Website under "business".

I dont know anything about D.C. taxes but Instacart corrected the consumer issue in 2018....

 

Also from CNN--The complaint points to a since-changed Instacart policy in place from September 2016 until April 2018 under which, in addition to a delivery fee, the company charged its consumers a default 10% “service” fee that could be increased, decreased or waived.  A class action lawsuit by some workers resulted in a $4.6 million settlement that required the company to change how it referred to the service fee — Instacart in April 2018 announced changes to its tipping and service fees, including lowering the service fee to a mandatory 5%, and suggesting a default 5% tip for workers.

 

Looks like DC is looking for some cash.....

 Instacart lawsuit comes after the DC Attorney General’s Office similarly sued on-demand startup DoorDash in November 2019 over allegedly deceiving customers with a controversial tipping policy. That lawsuit is ongoing.
