A friend shared this video with me a couple years ago, I found it inspirational and grounding. It is artistic but delivers a profound message of many quotes. One of the things that struck me most was all of Abraham Lincoln's defeats in life before he found success.

Jules, ... Thanks for this thread. DH and I have a file of quotes on MS Word that we've collected through the years and refer to them quite often. This is one of my favorites: "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." (Roger Caras)

I was really impressed by Steve Jobs' quote on "Explore...": “Remembering you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.” ~~ Steve Jobs, Stanford commencement address, 2005 (Co-founder, Apple, Inc.)

Hello sweet Anika, thanks for joining in, always a pleasure to see you. I will check your link, but definitely agree with the Roger Caras quote. I miss my sweet Nook so much, my dad and I have discussed it, and we are thinking spring will be a good time to make our home whole again. Depends on my dad's health and stuff, but gosh I miss the pitter patter of paws.
