I have read about posters who posted the link to the Insider and they were banned. I don't get that. It is a free publication now, and it is selling merchandise for qvc.

Yep, years ago I was banned for posting a link to the Insider here on the boards, but that was before it was free.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@bonnielu So sorry I didnt get back to you sooner. The Insider Team has confirmed that we are still mailing out the Insider & Emailing the link around the 15th of each month. She has provided some reasons that may be preventing you from receiving. See notes below.

If you are coded as a recipient and have an email with us you should receive a link arund the 15^th of the month. You will need to have your email preferences checked to get emails (sneak peeks etc). If you don’t have that checked you will not get the link.

There are several other reasons you may not receive it. It has been reported that some customers have the email go to their junk folder, or blocked by their computer as Spam or if you do not open an email sent to you containing the link, it could stop them being sent.

In the meantime we have let them know of the difficulty some customers are having.

I've never received the link in an email. I always got the paper copy in my mail around the 15th. I haven't received that yet either.

I still don't understand why people would get banned or items numbers are poofed. A sale is a sale. If it's available to some, it should be available to all.

I haven't had a problem...yet. My online and paper copy have arrived on time each month. I got the November email but the paper copy will arrive later. Sorry you aren't receiving yours.

I don't get the big problem here.

This is only my guess, nothing more:

It doesn't have to do with $$. The Insider was created to make the customers who get it feel special for having access to "deals" well in advance of "everyone." If the TSVs should sell out, these (theoretically) "best, loyal frequent purchasers" would be guaranteed to get them.

A month before the TSV is to air, QVC most likely only has limited stock available. If "everyone" could buy they wouldn't have enough in stock to fulfill all orders early.

And regardless of any other reasons, valid or invalid, QVC still wants long-time loyal frequent buyers (whom they perceive are the Insider customers, rightly or wrongly) to fee "special" and exclusive and get something from them the "riff-raff" doesn't get ;-(
