My husband and I had an opportunity to get tickets to the race many years ago. We flew out there ( from CT ) rented a car, paid triple the daily rate at a hotel and on raceday went to the track. We got to see and hear Jim Nabors sing just before the start of the race and the skies opened up in downpouring rain. It was postponed and the next day was still raining, so was postponed again. We flew back home and watched the race on TV. It was an expensive disappointment but am still happy that we had the chance to go to the Indy track.

I hope the weather this year is great and all the fans get to enjoy an exciting and safe race.
