Incessant Commercials Disrespect 9/11

The tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks is a sad and solemn day. I woke up early to follow the coverage. I was really upset to see the constant interruption of the programming by loud and obnoxious commercials. I understand that TV networks need to make a profit but couldn't they, for just one day, have fewer interruptions? There was one insurance company that had an excellent ad featuring a children's choir at a NYC firehouse but the rest of the ads were just loud and garish interruptions. To me it shows a glaring disrespect for what this day is supposed to be about.
