There is a photo of a nuthatch that look very much like the one in our yard. This bird is so hard to get a photo of as it travels so fast down for a nut and right back up. I sat for 3 hours just to get that photo. It is the one and only bird like this our family has ever seen. Tiny little thing. Has a real short tail and scrub jays tails are a lot longer.

Cute squirrels and birds! We don't have many black squirrels here, mostly gray ones. I always put out treats in my yard for our wildlife friends. Thanks for the photos!

That squirrel is so pretty. I have never a black squirrel. We have the regular grey ones and fox squirrels. Fox squirrels are not as aggressive as the others. They appear to be longer and more lean than the greys. We have one that comes to our fountain for a drink and he (?) is a silver grey with a very long silvery tail.

Thanks for the chart. Love our blue jays as the squirrels love to chase them away.
The photo of the 2 birds looks like the bottom bird is the one we have seen here.

My Mom and I always loved looking up birds when I was a child. Wish she was alive and we still could do it again.

LLLLOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE black squirrels, they're not in Philly, but my sister lives in Wynnewood and they are abundant there.

In my friends backyard she had an all white lil bud, that squirrel was so pretty, delicate.

Here was one of my little baby squirrel babies earlier this year. Sooooooo cute!!! They got to know me and would come out and present themselves so I would bring out the peanuts.

I also have a shot of the pregnant mom. Then, when the babies came they would run around on my deck, playing. So much cuteness I thought my heart would explode.
