Well I'm sort of proud of myself today. I filled out 3 orders and when it came to pressing order, I hit remove. It's not that these items weren't nice, but I just don't need them. Yesterday I did the same with a couple of things . It's almost like I have to see the invoice with the shipping and tax , and it is a wake up call. Now remember I said sort of proud, I did order the Joan Rivers Lunchtime special  chambray colored shirt with the stars. However it has short sleeves so it will be great for warm weather. I'm not an impulse shopper, but when I see a good sale , sometimes I lose what is left of my mind. 🤣

I'm right there with you.

I too have a soft spot for the Lunchtime Specials.  Some are just too good to pass up.

You should be proud. You did good!  Me, not so much.  I was trying hard not to buy anything else until February, I told myself that I was cut off for this month. But nope, impulse took over and I bought several things today.  All at a discount, all will be used.  Enjoy your new shirt!

I haven't bought anything here since last August. CH jammies for a road trip. So large I tossed 2 of 3 pair I was so ticked at the quality.

I did place a  small Rastelli's order on Friday. Less than $100.

Only buying essentials this year.

@PhilaLady1 , Thanks , I knew when I saw the stars that if it wasn't ridiculously expensive that it would be mine.

After spending 3 days decluttering and getting my things ready for Community yard sale, marketplace or donation center -- I clearly don't need nor want another thing😳.  (Lots of wasted $$$$ on impulse or unneeded things)

I am done ordering from QVC as I just received Ryka TSV can't even get on my foot!!  They are marked size 10m (my size) but can't even squeeze foot in if I had too..definitely a defect!

Last week received item missing parts...

@QVCkitty1 @Chopsmom I wrote about this on another thread. I have been a prolific Q shopper for 30 years. I had a security breach of my account and it was closed to me for about 30 days-mid Dec to Jan. For 30 days, I had no purchases. I realized that I was impulse shopping. I just don't need more tee shirts, kitchen gadgets, cosmetics. --even if I can afford these purchases.

In the last 60 days I have purchased a food item that I buy regularily and that's all. I feels good to be more disciplined. The thrift stores will also notice that I have cut back on impulse shopping.

You know what I did today?  I turned off the tv and normally listen to QVC as I clean.   I put music on instead and went for it.

Do not need impulse items and been purging since December and a big eye opener for me.

@Roscoe the Rascal , Since I don't watch much tv and almost no QVC, what I have to do is delete all of my store emails .

(thread title)

I have never been one to act on any type of impulse. Was taught that by my mother when I was very young. Learned even more when I started my paper route at 8 years old.

Buy papers wholesale, charge customers retail. Along with that came "think before you act or talk", was also a phrase my mother told us kids often.
