Heavy rains in N. Georgia right now. They've predicted for my area 3-5 inches of rain between today, tomorrow and Friday. Well........ it's been raining since a little before 10 this morning and we've already gotten 2.5 inches. It's coming down in torrents right now.

Flash flood watches and even a few warnings were posted for our area before the rain even started.

I'm just hoping our basement doesn't flood. It flooded in 2009, but that was after 16 inches of rain in two days. Hopefully we're not going to get anything like that.

Wishing we could send some of this to AZ, NM and CO.
