I believe that a person should have the right to terminate their life if they are ill and have given it a lot of rational and sane thought.

Shorty Have you considered chiropractic? Many times a few adjustments can stop pain or pinched nerves. I also get relief from my tens machine.

I would certainly and will use assisted suicide as an option, if circumstances dictate. It is a legal option in my state.

It's a personal decision. It's also a decision I'll never believe I could judge another person for making. We selfishly want our loved ones here with us as long as possible, but sometimes we have to place their quality of life before our desire to have them here on earth. Every situation is unique, each person is unique. I want to stress my agreement that choosing to end one's life is in no way cowardly or easy.*

Well, paint me stupid! It got posted to the wrong thread......of course, not MY fault....HAH!

Don't ask me where I intended it to show up......I can't remember......I suffer from CRS, you know! However, wherever it was supposed to post was more appropriate....I'm certain of that. I may eventually get it straightened out......or not.

I think more would probably find a way to take their own life if it wasn't for their families. I would not pass judgment on anyone for this very difficult decision. I think mental problems , health problems and financial problems all play into this with the former 2 probably being most influential to an individual making this sad choice.
