I was a regular QVC watcher for many years. These are the issues that lost me. Too few items per show... move them along!! If its a fashion show, show only fashion not makeup, jewelry or vacuums. And last but definitely not least...the hosts! I do not wish to be entertained by them. Should be about the product not the person. Thank you and good night!!!

I hope TPTB are reading everyone's wonderful suggestions. {#emotions_dlg.devil2}

Maybe they will be inspired. Cool

Wouldn't that be something? If they actually listened to their customers ... in particular, those of us who once were frequent buyers and now are not?

Great thread, Scottie!

First and number one: Knock it off with the extreme "vanity sizing" and conform to brick and mortar sizing. I'm constantly trying to interpret "click here" measurements and "is it knit or woven fabric" to discern my correct QVC size; I know what size I wear at Macy's and should have the same experience here.

Second: You must get serious about your s/h problem. You just have to. I abandon my cart constantly here at the Q when I'm faced with S/H charges of $15, $16, $20 to ship three sweaters or $9.50 recently to ship two pair of tights. Yes, $10 bucks to ship $25.00 worth of hosiery.

Three: Pick up the pace. We're all online shoppers these days used to clicking through 20 or more items in a few minutes. Here, you still spend 5-7 minutes on a product and with few exceptions still manage to tell us nothing about it!

Four: Rather than excoriate customer over returns, ask yourself why this is a happening. QVC has a billion-dollar returns business. That's a lot of dissatisfaction. Maybe instead of sending out "the letter" you might consider the quality of the products you ship? As any retailer knows, it's not about sales but rather about "sales that wear well." A billion dollars? Not so good.

I am almost done with shopping for clothing here because of inconsistent sizing. The shoes aren't much better and so many wonderful vendors no longer are with the Q, I have lost almost all of my interest. I can get my cosmetics from Sephora with free shipping and handling and Amazon usually has everything cheaper when it comes to other merchandise. There was a cookbook I ordered and canceled because Amazon had it for almost half of the price the Q was charging.

All things change but QVC has not changed for the better.

They need to do something dramatic to get people's attention, like the 50/50 tour was. It excited people that they could go see live shows in their hometown and it brought in a lot of new vendors and products.

QVC has definitely gotten stale - they have to shake something up. The business model of lowering quality while raising prices is not working - the consumer is on to them and is avoiding them like the plague. That is what they have to turn around.

Are they suffering in sales? I haven't heard that. It seems to me things sell out pretty quickly most of the time. However, I would like more reduced shipping, OR, if you buy more than one beauty or fashion item, you get free shipping after the first one. For example, make up. I buy three different eyeshadows. Why do I have to pay shipping on each? Throw them all in the same bag and charge once.
