Idaho question

Read the story of the missing teenager that was recently found and have a question about that area.

The retired police officer mentioned that one of the members of his party told her (the 16 yer old) to take her feet out of the lake due to the fish.....that seems odd to me, I always bathe my feet in lakes and never had a warning of any kind.

Anyone know?
