Instead he dumped a bucket of money over his head. He said he would be donating the $10,000 to the ALS foundation and challenged Jon Croyer, Ashton Kutcher and the producer of his former show to do the same thing....each one dump $10,000 and donate it to the foundation.
A bucket of money....funny....that's soooo Charlie Sheen. But it serves the purpose! Good for him.

The drought is very serious. I know I take a lot for granted having no water restrictions.
Maybe they can do use something else besides water...
They can pledge to skip one shower.
Will that make you feel better?
Seriously though....our family has a summer cabin above that lake in the pic above and we lived in the town below it and over my 5 decades of life we've been asked to conserve on things like flushing, watering lawns, washing cars, etc. so yea, a gallon of water per everyone participating in this challenge adds up some when you've been asked to sacrifice personally. I'm in no way demeaning the ALS charity or making donations to it.....just skip the water if you are out west.....or use swimming pool water or some other way to get double use of it.

I'm sure someone will find fault with that too.

That lake in the photo above is one that supplies water to our farmers in the valleys of California where a large percentage of all of our food is grown. If you keep up on the ag news the farmers have to fight for every drop they get.

Have you stopped bathing?
I am sure a nice ice water dunk could qualify as a shower!

I'm not going to dignify that with an answer but when I lived out there on occasion we had to stop washing cars and watering lawns......and have been asked to conserve on flushing.....and the drought was no where near this bad.
