My grandma got me hooked on QVC. She was the best.

I always like to catch David over my coffee, before work; I work nights.

I love all of David's guests; but, dude, here are the guests I run right in to the living room for, on David's shows: Aaron McCargo Jr, Tina Verrelli (didn't know she was an author!), and Chris Pryme--they just flat have cool personalities, and make my smile. Thanks, guys . 

On a random note (tonight's show)-- David Venable said someone called him Mr. Benadable. That cracked me up

@midgeez - Welcome to the forums! Isn't it great that you can go to work with a smile on your face? I like to watch this show too, but I rarely get to see it all. I like to see what recipe he's making at the beginning of the show!

@midgeez  You can type and you type very well.  It's nice to hear your views and share your memories associated with your grandma because I do the same with my grands (I sorta have to make them).

We have the same hosts for favs.

Who knows maybe one day one of my grands will be writing in (ha).

I rarely watched the food shows since I am someone who doesn't enjoy cooking.  Howver, in time I put the food program on and enjoyed David.  He is up beat and always positive, enjoys his food and has good rapport with all the vendors.  His shows are pleasant experiences. 

Thanks for the laugh about someone calling David, Mr. Bendable!!!  I'm sure he had a good laugh over that!

@midgeez   Welcome to the forums.  I am a David Vendable fan as well.

And I do like Tina, Aaron, and Chris Pryme.    

I miss Bob Warden who used to present, among other things, Cooks Essentials and Ninja.  He had some legal troubles over a dispute with a girlfiend over who owned his company and he hasn't been back on QVC since.     

I, too, faithfully watch David's shows and purchase often when he is the host.  

Last night I was safe in that I didn't find anything on his show that I just had to have--not even the set of two 9 X 13 inch shallow containers by LocknLock!
