I received an email from Amazon offering $10 credit towards next purchase.

i did order a couple of maxi dresses from them to wear around the house,

so the apparel purchase mentioned is correct.

It looks real to me, although I couldn't verify it by googling.

Anyone know or have received similar offer ?

Hmm.   I'm not really a fan of Amazon; rarely ever buy anything on there.  I prefer Ebay, so I can't tell you anything about that letter (email?).  Don't they have a Customer Service Dept you can call?

Most probably not from Amazon

@Pezzie  It's a scam!!! Amazon ALWAYS includes your name with their email correspondence. To be sure, go to your Amazon account and check there. Better yet, give Amazon a call. The call center is available once again. Treat it as spam and do NOT click to claim your prize, until you are absolutely sure!😊

I would be leary of clicking on something sent to you this way.  If something seems too good to be true it usually is........sometimes it's "fishing" scams where the sender tries to get personal info out of you.  I order from Amazon all the time - never got something like that.

you could add something to your amazon cart and see if the credit applies

I think it helps also to look at the address from where it was sent

all the stuff at the bottom makes it seem legit

@Pezzie Look at the top at the real "from" address  and you can tell who it is most likely from and it will be obvious it's not Amazon.  The part after the @ is the domain name and it will not look legit.

Thanks all for replying.  I already deleted the email.

Figured if they want to give me the credit, they can put it in the account, without sending out an email.

@Pezzie The reason I'd think it's NOT legit is that it's not addressed to you.

Anything that says it's from a company but that doesn't used the name and numbers I associate with that company is not from them.
