IS THERE A SHORTAGE OF DIVORCE ATTORNEYS?

It was in the news this week, but I'll skip the details ... same story, basically.

Husband reports wife missing.  Pretends to be oh so concerned.  A week later, he's arrested for her murder.

The one I'm referring to actually had done a computer search for "best ways to get rid of a body".   Well, that is like a gift with a bow on it for the prosecutor handling this murder charge.

What I always wonder is this .... why risk spending the rest of your life in jail on a murder charge?  These days, it's so easy for law enforcement to catch people who commit murder.

Why not just get a divorce and move on?  Is there a shortage of divorce attorneys in this country?

What are your thoughts?

Because they don't want her to get half of everything?

Yeah, better to ruin several lives and give ALL your money to a criminal attorney.   That's a better option, for sure, lol.  Maybe just the really stupid ones commit murder.

If I were to commit a murder, I would have a plane ticket to some place that does not have extradition, e.g, Brazil.  I wouldn't wait around for the police to catch me.

Some of them think they are smarter than the detectives.

After all they did their research, don't you know.

I watch TONS of crime shows and the one thing criminals ALL have in common is that they *think* they're smarter than the police and investigators and can get away with it. Big surprise when they don't.

As Joe Kenda used to say "criminals are stupid."

Just for clarification, if you are referring to the Ana Walsh murder, it was her employer who reported her missing:

Ana Walshe, a missing Massachusetts mom of three, was first reported missing by her employer — not her husband, according to a Cohasset, Mass., police log, multiple outlets report.

The head of security at Walshe's employer, Washington D.C. real estate firm Tishman Speyer, reportedly called police requesting a wellness check for her on Jan. 4, according to Boston 25 News.

Walshe, 39, was reported missing that day — 72 hours after she was allegedly last seen at her Cohasset, Mass., home. She was last spotted in the early morning hours of Jan. 1, when she was due to head to the airport for a flight to D.C.

According to police, her cell phone last pinged on Jan. 2 in an area near her home, reports state. The phone was turned off as of Jan. 4.

The head of security reportedly said Tishman Speyer had reached out to Walshe's husband, Brian Walshe, but that he had not filed a missing-person report.

@Love my grandkids , love Joe Kenda.  He had some great shows on the ID channel.  DH loved him so much, I got him a  Tshirt with his picture on it saying, "my, my, my".
