IAMS Pet Food

Yesterday I read lots of comments on-line about pets getting sick and dying after eating IAMS. I recently purchased a large bag of IAMS Proactive (dry and wet food) for my little lhasa apso and today I returned it. The brand Authority was recommended by my dog breeder. Have any of you experienced this problem or known about it.
