I didnt get the survey...I do shop on HSN, but don't know the hosts very well, so I wouldn't have much to offer if I was responding.

It's that way for me, with QVC,too. I only know the long time hosts. I think that for most of us, the products offered and the $ amounts we're asked to pay for them, influences our decisions more than who sells them on air.

How in the heck would you know that LIsa R. is bitter about the parting? Do you speak wtih Lisa R?

I am friends wtih a vendor who used to work with her. She told me months ago that Lisa is happy and left on her own volition.

They wouldn't need a survey to know who to dump .... they would just look at the hosts' sales numbers. Your comments won't get anyone fired.

ITA with some of your comments about Colleen's lack of preparedness. I do like her, and I think she's a natural. I remember stating years ago that I didn't think she was always prepared. She is so comfortable in front of the camera and so beloved that I feel many don't recognize that. I remember seeing her on some interview whereby she stated she just "winged" some sweeper presentation and that she hadn't even looked at the information HSN had given her on it.

She also sometimes gives sizing info and other times doesn't. Callie is one of the worst with giving sizing info, and unfortunately...she kicks off a lot of the fashion TSV's.

Suzanne Runyon is by far my favorite, Shannon second, and Colleen a distant third. I shop for fashion there and I find that Suzanne gives much more helpful and realistic information about pieces. I enjoy Shannon as well on other shows, particularly the kitchen shows. I enjoy Colleen's presence but I do find that she in my estimation does not give enough skinny about items. I particularly dodged a bullet with her jewelry boxes that by the reviews are not quality. I think she is used to sell the not so great items.

This isn't the type of discussion I normally plow through on this website, but it sure looks like a discussion thread that should be dumped by QVC or ignored by reasonably sane people.

Here is all this talk about Colleen Lopez' salary, and it doesn't look like anyone knows exactly what the salary amounts to, or even knows one single thing about what goes on with the Human Resources Department at HSN. Truly bizarre, the type of topics that can occupy certain folks' attention these days.
