where I was being sued for $4500 in damages from a young girl who thought I was at fault in an accident back in February. The police report ruled in my favor and her insurance thought it was her fault and paid my insurance company back the damages they paid for my car as well as our deductible which they reimbursed to us.

After roll call was taken the judge asked us to step out and in the hall and those who were willing to mediate talk to the 3 mediators available to resolve their cases. The young girl wanted me to mediate and was tearful when I refused. I gave my papers to the judge and she gave her papers to the judge and she ruled in my favor. Her two witnesses said I was at fault, but the bare facts of the case were she made a left turn in front of an on coming car that is against the law in California. I am relieved, and grateful for the California court system.
