“Tact is the art of making a point without making an enemy.”~Sir Isaac Newton
This is one of our poster's closing quotes for her posts (you know who you are)! I had never seen it before, but I just know that in this group of women perhaps one of you can help me with a situation coming up tomorrow.
Can someone recommend a tactful way for me to let an aide know what I need her not to do in the classroom? We have discussed this and last class she veered off. Should I have corrected it then? I don't want to insult her -- I do respect her as an adult and a vital member of the team.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions/help.
