{#emotions_dlg.mad}I am about to lose my mind, and there's precious little left to lose.

While going over my on-line bank statement, I found a charge that I knew I didn't make. I first called my bank, their policy is for the customer to try to settle it with the store first, then they get involved if resolution isn't possible.

I called the store, and was told that my card was used, actually swiped on a day last week. I know I didn't do it and, no one else had my card. The only other person in my house is dh and he would not be caught dead in this particular store.

The lady at the store was very irritated that I would dispute this. I guess she thought I was trying to get out of paying. She said that there was a signature and I asked what it looked like. She said it was legible, I then told her my signature looked like a scrawl. She then said, yes, that's what this looked like. How can it be legible and a scrawl at the same time? Truly, my signature is a squigglely line.

I'm sure this has happened to others here. What did you do to get things straightened out?
