Although I was alone, I still looked around to see if anyone saw me pick up my phone to change the channel on the TV.

A lady came to interview at our office.  She was leaving as I was standing at the elevator loaded down with things to deliver to another office in a few minutes, and was clicking my car key remote frantically at the elevator, saying "Oh come on!  Come ON!"

I looked around at her and she timidly said "Does it work that way?"    She was hired and we often laughed about that.

I used to accidentally put my cell phone in the work fridge and my lunch in my locker when I worked retail 😅.

These are all just too funny.  So needed this today.

Never had a smart tv before and purchased one last week.  What a brain draining mess.  Anyway, I was looking for the "tinsie" remote and frustratingly told my DH that I just couldn't find it.  He looked at me and said, "it's in your hand", and it was. OMG. I'm glad I wasn't to the point of beyond frustration and was able to laugh at myself with him.

Me too.  But worse.  I have prescription readers for up close and other lenses for farsightedness.  I was at a counter with the farsighted ones on, and tried to put my reading glasses on top of those.  Soooo embarrassed when younger receptionist saw me.  🤓
