I just got off the phone with their customer service and they were WONDERFUL. Issuing a credit today and will have UPS come out next week to pick up the blanket. Couldn't be better customer service and I apologize for my mistake.
I had no doubt that this would be the outcome. Regardless of the retailer, I knew they would make it right. Now you can relax.

I just bought I think 10 new supima cotton t-shirts from Lands End. They are now thinner fabric. I'm keeping them since they are still comfy on the skin.
LL Bean has discontinued the Supima cotton nightgowns I've been wearing for many years. I owe a lot in various lengths and sleeve styles, but am so disappointed they are not offering the most comfortable nightgown which is warm in the winter (Lincoln, NE) and cool in the summer. The fabric behaves like silk!
I wear them 365 in different styles for each season. So glad I have many in my closet, but wish they still carried the nightgown. It was wonderful to buy a couple new ones "just because"!!

I noticed that. I don't know how anyone could sleep in poly. I would wake up sweating.
They had/have a lot of polyester. People need to stop buying it so they will stop making clothes with it.
I don't want poly in my t-shirts, pants, jeans, sheets etc.
I bought the supima cotton t-shirts because I'm wondering if they are going to stop selling them?
You don't want to be wearing it if you end up in a fire.

@BirkiLady @Nightowlz LE nightgowns are still 100% cotton, just not the Supima cotton. The only change is in the sleeveless nightgown which is now rayon.
I don't know about pajamas and robes.
LE did bring back the 100% super T shirt last year like the old ones. I still have those from years ago and they are still great. I haven't seen them for a few months now.
I agree the other tees are thinner and sag in the neckline after just a few washes.
I don't think stopping to purchase them will make a difference. People have been complaining for years and nothing has been improved.
I do see some items with part polyester but overall the usual items are still cotton.

I did notice the change to a rayon mix in the fabric, but am not interested! Rayon is usually a lighter thread; I'm so happy with the current weight and feel of the fabric formerly used in the nightgowns I've been wearing it would be difficult to become used to a lighter fabric. I'm sold on 100% Supima cotton, which took the place of my silk nightgowns years ago.
I've saved a lot of money by switching to Supima cotton and laundering is simple since I wear a nightgown once or twice, then toss it in the laundry! Formerly, my silk gowns were sent to the cleaners. You can imagine the cost incurred at the cleaners for three or four gowns per week! When working, it was a normal expense. As a widow and no longer working, it would be a nuisance and more expensive than I care to spend on myself.
Fortunately, I own over 22 Supima nightgowns in various lengths and styles which should last for a very long time - and I really had no reason to complain since I'm grateful to have purchased so many! They will probably outlast me.

Another item which has been discontinued is the 100% cotton sweatshirt-type material robes (sorry, can't remember the exact name).
I have two of those wonderful robes with a 3/4 length front zipper: a long robe in light blue and a knee-length robe in rust. Launder very well and feel like a big sweatshirt with a stand-up collar. Comfort and utilitarian only. Not a "pretty or sexy robe" at all, but wonderful for Nebraska's cold weather!
My purchases changed after I was widowed: comfort, utilitarian and warm!
I lost all interest in sexy for several years.

LL Bean was great when I needed a new pair of winter boots. I had a pair of leather boots from LL Bean that Wore well with yearly care but the previous winter must have gotten some Ice melt or something into the leather as they had all but disintigrated!
This was when they still had their forever return policy. So I fugured I'd give it a try.
I brought them back and no one could find the style. But the boots had L.L.BEAN imprinted into the leather so they just didn't know how much to refund!
When I told them I was going to put any refund towards a new pair of the Iconic LL Bean Boots they gave me enough to cover half the cost.
Happy camper Me. THOSE boots are still going strong.
Their outdoor gear lasts forever.

I purchased 2 ll bean long down coats several years ago at approx. 15% off, bringing them down to approx. $200/apiece. The zippers are so bad that I have to keep them partially zipped at all times and step into them. When I wrote them to complain, they said that I was unaware of how to use the double zipper correctly. I explained that I started skiing at age 8 and was quite familiar with double zipper use. No response. That was the last time I ever ordered from Bean. Lands End has more than filled the void.
