try Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Last time I bought towels from there, they were the worst, 100% cotton that went limp and non-absorbent. Might as well have used the plastic shower curtain liner or pure polyester to try to dry yourself.
I didn't have any luck with the towels I purchased BB&B either. Was disappointed.

I found USA made towels made out of 100% USA cotten.
I found them at Walmart. The label says MADE HERE They are thick, thirsty towels that actually dry you off after a shower or bath. They wash up really well.
Our walmart has them, only in a few colors.
The company is out Georgia. they are the only business left in the USA that makes towels .
The bath size towels (these are bath size, nice and roomy) run $7.00 each.
I will be definitely checking that out. My husband almost won't buy anything foreign made anymore if he can help it. I'd get brownie points for made in the USA towels! Thanks

I frequent TJ Maxx a lot, and they carry some really beautiful towels. The few I have tried didn't hold up well. They sell such a mix of brands, that I should probably keep an eye out there still.

@magicmoodz wrote:Several years ago I purchased Dream Sack by Yala bamboo towels from my neighborhood co-op. They are wonderful. With my recent move I wanted new towels in a different color.
So I went to the co-op and said to an employee "I know this is a stretch, but...". She knew exactly the towels I wanted, affirmed the high quality, but said they no longer carry them.
It appears Yala no longer makes these towels. I can only find two sets listed on ebay, however I am reluctant to purchase for fear that, just like everything else, they aren't the same fine quality. 😕
One of life's biggest frustrations anymore, that you can't find the same brand/quality you loved, even after just a short time.
Companies used to make the same product lines, in the same great quality for years and years. Now if you find something you love, you had better buy all you can get or think you will want in the future, as they won't be there in a week or a month!

Story of my life! If I like it, I can pretty much guarantee it will be discontinued within the next hour. ![]()
