No, not posting here so put away the champagne.  lmao

I cannot believe my shopping is all done.  ALL DONE.  I've never, ever finished this early.

I ordered my last gift today.  Unsure about strikes and spotty deliveries.

We don't send cards anymore so that's off the list.

I'll hand pick cards for the kids and for DH if I find any worthwhile. Seems lately the cards are uber expensive and very repetitive year to year.

Plus all those glitter cards mucking up everything. lmao

I’ve got my out of town gifts done, wrapped and the shipping boxes ready. I’m mailing them out some time this week or the beginning of next week. The recipients can put them in a closet or something. 

I’m going to try to avoid the post office after that’s done.

We only have DS, DDIL, GS, and GD.  DH and I do not exchange gifts but we do give each other cards.

The kids are only a few minutes away, too.

I'm almost done, Friday I will go to a local church bazaar to finish my BFF's package. Every year there is a lady who sells catnip mice, she grows her own catnip and makes the mice. My friend has many cats, so I always buy a bunch for her crew. I have to go early, because they are a popular item.

All I have left to do is the cards, and cookies and other treats to make and wrap as gifts for my neighbors and some children in our community. Have to wait on those so they'll be fresh.

I was done a little after Labor Day.  This morning I "bagged" them all.....

I am impressed.

But I noticed while I was out this morning, there were a line of 6 cars. They were waiting to make a left hand turn into the Post Office. There must be other people out there busy mailing stuff too.

Maybe this year I will get my act together. Or maybe not.

I only have the 2 grandkids, DS, and DDIL.  Oh, and something for their kitty.

I have NEVER been finished this early but along with concerns about shipping strikes there are other family medical issues going on starting Friday through mid-December.

I will bake some cookies and I always host Christmas Eve dinner so that will be all God willing.
