it leads to winter every single year. Ick.

Not only do we turn the clocks back this weekend (making it DARK so dang early) but it is going to not get out of the 40's for the high temperature this weekend.

Not to mention a couple of weeks of -20 degrees in January. Of course, the north slope has already had blizzards.

Today was 77. Friday is supposed to be in the 40s and rainy. The worst part of Fall (besides that Winter is next) is my allergies are unbearable right now.

I wish it could be autumn all year long. I like winter, I just don't enjoy driving in the pitch black with snow and fog and ice. The cool temps don't bother me though. I'm never outside long enough for it to be a problem.

I used to love fall so much, and while I still like it, it does make me get blah about winter coming on as we get to this point in the season. I used to be ok with it clear through Thanksgiving, then excited about the Christmas season, and didn't really get the winter blahs until sometime in January, but it comes on earlier every year now. Guess I'm getting old!
