I know it's cold, but........

MUST they repeatedly tell us the wind chill number, rather than the actual air temp? (Much like they do with the heat index in the summer.) I've been in and out much of the day today. The outside temp has ranged from 17 to 24, but it's a beautiful, sunny day. But to listen to the radio people, I should be freezing to death, since the "wind chill" is in the single digits!!!! Sorry, but I guess I haven't been outside during a wind gust. To me, it's just been a cold, but very pleasant winter day. The media sure loves to sensationalize!!!!
