When you have a board of directors of an organization like an HOA and one of the committees submits a proposal , isn't the president of the board required to read that proposal to the entire board and discuss it? Is he allowed to just trash can it? Does anyone know what you would call the rules of order for an organization such as this so I can research them? Our president just trashed the proposals from 2 different committees without even looking at them - apparently he feels he has been elected the dictator, so we would like to do somethings to derail that arrogance, but we need some ammo. For all of us involved this is our first experience with an HOA, but we are going to struggle to keep it resident friendly and not turn into a deal where if you don't kiss his butt you will get s*rewed. Some of the other members of the board are with us but seem reluctant to fight him alone.
