Re: I had to go outisde just now....

[ Edited ]

When the heat index gets up into the upper 90’s or above the heat can pose a real threat , especially little children and older adults and even pets. Please be careful if you are in the midst of this terrible heat wave and it is unusual for your area. The heat can overcome you before you know it and then you can really be in trouble. Stay hydrated and inside in a cooler area when possible and know the hottest part of the day is late afternoon. If you feel faint or light-headed, lie down and get plenty of fluids. Watch your kids or grandkids closely as the heat can effect them faster than adults. Make sure pets are inside with plenty of water and don't take them for a walk on blazing hot sidewalks! If it's too hot for you to walk barefoot, imagine what it is doing to your dog's paws. Keep them in grassy areas. Be careful out there!

Do yourself a favor and drop AHS as soon as you can. We had nothing but bad experiences with them. I hope you get your a/c fixed ASAP and are happy with the results.

I am in the PNW and my weather finally broke today.  I had never been in that hot of weather.  At 3 pm today it is 73 degrees.

We have our break (sort of)  It's pouring outside. Just heavy rain.  Started out with storms, but the stronger ones missed us.  Thank God.  Now it's just plain rain.  Next couple days will be cooler.  It's 72F now.  Next several days in the 80'sF
