to get the mail. And a wall of heat hit me! It actually pushed me back several steps. I took a deep breath & darted out the door for the mail box (about 5 feet I looked at the temp. 101F during 6:00PM. Wow... Big storms tonight. Probably blow up everything.

@songbird It's been hotter than usual across the country. I wish we'd get some storms to water our plants, but also cool things off. Be careful what I wish for. Lol

I am in the PNW and my weather finally broke today. I had never been in that hot of weather. At 3 pm today it is 73 degrees.

It's only 103 in Phoenix today. Cool wave. I walked 3 houses down for the mail, took out two trash cans to the street. Didn't even break a sweat.

I'm in CT and we have central a/c. I have it set to 71. The temp in the house today went up to 75!!!!! Our a/c unit is fairly new and big enough, but it just can't handle this oppressive heat and humidity!!!!!

Hotter than 3 h***s here today...humid and heat index of 107. I was out in it all day yesterday and today with grandkids who were in kiddie pool from 10 am until 5. With only a break for lunch🤦‍♀️. Today, I got in my tankini and joined them in the pool. Its one of those 10 foot by 3 foot blow up pools but omg it felt great. They were so excited I got in to play shark. Just hysterical...making memories.

We had a doozy of a thunderstorm yesterday .. didn't cool anything! We're having a smaller thunderstorm now .. still "swampy" out. I don't think we'll be breaking the 90s until Friday or Sat. Can't stand being closed in so much. Good luck, I hope you do get the cooling off period.
