I had to change my user name

has anyone else had this problem very recently since all of the getting rid of the forum problems?

I have been catlover for 20 years plus and system said that user name is already taken....same with my email....had to use my husbands to type this.

Also I can only see my recent orders. My order history is gone

IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT DAY!

So far so good, but hope they can pinpoint what's caused this for you @catlover7777 .

This last name change go-round was traumatic.

Hi, @catlover7777!   This website is dreadful, filled with technical pitfalls.

What you've done is create a brand new account rather than changing your nickname on the account you normally use.

If you look under your name and avatar on your post, you'll see that it says:

Registered: ‎10-12-2021"

So, this is a new user account.

Your established account, linked to all of your past posts and also linked to all of your past purchases, is:

Registered: ‎03-13-2010"

and this is your profile:

It sounds like you signed with a different email address the site didn't recognize so it prompted you to create a new account.
Is it possible you slightly mis-typed the email address when you were logging in?

(Also, occasionally even if we type the correct email address, this site has a glitch that will fail to recognize it and prompt us to create a new account -- best thing is to leave the site, perhaps clear browser cookies/cache/website data, quit the browser, relaunch it, then try the login again.)

Why don't you try an email to the QVC Social Team, explain what happened, and see if they can help sort it out so you can regain access to your correct account?

I'm sorry this happened!   I know it's frustrating.
Sending good wishes your way for a quick and easy resolution.❤️

Re: I had to change my user name

Sometimes this site doesn't recognize me as an established user.  That applies to the forums, as well as the shopping side.

When that happens, I tab back and try again, and it usually works.  That said, I clear my history and cache daily.  Regardless of what glitches QVC's website has, that has to be done.  Otherwise there's just a big pile-up of data that doesn't always connect, especially with this site.

Are the PTB at QVC trying to establish more relevancy by numbers that visit (new "accounts")?  Who knows, but don't let the game players use you!

My order history has been incomplete for years now.  Mostly, I can see recent orders but things go missing.

Good to see you @dooBdoo .

Hadn't seen you for a while and was sure hoping you were well.

Take care now,

Have you tried resetting your password? Enter the email address for catlover. Leave the password blank, then click where it says to reset or create your password. Follow the instructions from there.
