...from Amazon. I had ordered a lot of "stuff" during the time I was disabled from my serious injury. DH is totally disabled and I was unable to walk except around in my house and DH hasn't driven or walked outside except to go to doctor in several years. So, needles to say my boys were, with a sitter, doing all our care but sitters don't shop for you and some of the things I needed, the boys did not buy. They would not let me pay for any groceries or such so I ordered a lot of "stuff," on line. I ordered deodorant from Amazon which took a month to get here and when it arrived, it was just an empty package. Even on the picture that was taken by the delivering person, you could tell it was nothing but a flat bag and it was a bag that had been opened. For several weeks, it had been bouncing around from one facility to the other, from the original carrier to my hometown post office and back to the original carrier. Strange. So I had my neighbor purchase deodorant for DH in the meantime, knowing that deodorant will keep and when it arrived, he can always use it.
However, the bag is flat and empty. Amazon wants to charge me $1.00 if I take it to either Kohl's or the UPS office to return it. I am not happy about that.

I have learned that there is a difference between Shipped From and Sold By on Amazon. For me it worth checking.

@Nonametoday Contact Amazon again.
I received a completely empty bag from them, it showed zero weight on the packaging, I sent them a picture of this to verify.
hope you & your dh are doing better.

Call Amazon, speak to a live person. Tell them there is nothing to return if the package is empty. Tell them you have limited ability to get out, etc.
Phone # 1 888 280 4331
I had to call them last week with an issue and it was resolved immediately. Good luck.

Understand your frustration; however, simply pay the $1 and end the nightmare.
Otherwise, how much aggravation do you want to put up with ? There is a cost to you: your time, your blood pressure, wear and tear on body and mind. Too, it is also probably bothering DH.

At 80 I have had several major careers which I have discussed in other posts. I will share with you any posters to this thread something I have dealt with in work with clients, coworkers, team members and career counselees.
Holding on to these negative feelings will impact you on so many levels, probably a few you or others never notice.
When you stay in " negative / angry / reactive " state territory, it is as though you have blinders on: you miss a lot of what occurs around you and which could lift your spirits. Others may be needing your support or kind word. You could be closing the door to opportunities that are important to you.
In the career seminars and counseling sessions in regular corporate manager positions,I spend a considerable amount of time going through all the various categories of nonverbal communications, whether silent or sounded.
People may hear what you say but give more credence to the nonverbals you present. Please note "hear" doesn't mean "listen" to understand. Big difference...
Life is filled with things that are unjust, unfair, etc. To dwell on them can undermine your health and happiness.
Letting go of the negative emotions will give you space to fill your mind and heart with positive, healthy things. Good Luck !!!

@PinkyPetunia Same here, namely, calling/dealing with Amz (by phone), & "voila" - immediately resolved, each & every time, for me.
Thanks for posting this #.
@Nonametoday Good luck! Do what cha believe you need to. Is up to you - yr choice! -- I know, it's utterly maddening, esp when disabled, &/or given the navigating of one's own limitations! *nodding furiously!*
