The Usps delivers some expedited delivery packages on Sundays and on Holidays.

I have Amazon Prime and when I get a weekend delivery, it is brought in by a different carrier.

BIL delivers overnight packages for the post office and has for years. He has a daughter from a previous marriage so for years we'd celebrate holidays on other days so she could be with us. He used to be out delivering packages on Thanksgiving and other holidays and said many times no one was there to sign for them - so he had to leave a note for them to pickup at their local post office the next day. He always considered working the holidays a win-win cuz his daughter got to see her cousins and he was earning overtime pay.
