I got a Kindle for my birthday! Yay! Any advice from ereader experts out there?

I'm fairly good with technology, but new to the whole world of ereaders. What advice would you give a newbie with a Kindle? Any favorite sites for books? Did you get a light and what kind of cover did you get? Thanks all!
