@hckynutjohn   I do get a full pension and free health benefits with early retirement. (Forgot to mention that when I wrote my explanation at 1:00 AM!). Thanks.

How wonderful for you if this is what you want.   I retired teaching HS after 37 years.  I loved every minute and was dept head

 

You will know what you want after taking some time off.  I went into clothing retail and love it!

@ECBG   Thank you for your positive words. I do love clothes so maybe a part time job in retail. Who knows?

If I may share and hopefully save you from frustration, I don't recommend Chicos.  I couldn't get hours there without getting a manager position; (I had been in retail 6 years!) then there were women running past me to get to a customer fueled by their system of "commission".

 

The only boutique store that isn't like that that I know of is Talbots.
