Dirty laundry is what divides families.

There's more than FB. Twitter and YouTube is great for a personal video.

Oh I totally agree!!! I stay away from face book with a ten foot pole. I have since the very beginning when it first became popular years ago.
I saw things that weren't 'dirty laundry', but just peoples every day 'activities'. It was appalling. Kids hinting what they did the night before or what they wanted to do and with whom.
Same thing with Twitter. You know what they're up to, it only takes a few words to give you the whole picture.
I can imagine now with all the pics being posted and texted what it's like now.
And then there's the bullying.......

In the case of some posters here lately, it is never their own dirty laundry but the laundry of other family members causing their own lives to be imperfect and stressful.
Of course they are perfect in their own life, never erring once. So they tell us often.
I guess the thought of hanging up a phone, letting a call go to vm, not answering an email or staying of FB has never occurred to them.

I have never seen any bullying on FB.
On the other front I agree, I have seen people share every little detail of their life. I've seen posts from the time they get up, go the gym, how great their life is, how messed up their life is. the kids, the pets, the husband the BFF's, boyfriend-girlfriend problems it's is never ending.

I think that is so wrong. Do they not realize that they are the ones that look foolish and not the family members, no matter what the family members did. I can't stand when people just in general share to much on social media. I have a girl I used to work with years ago that I am friends with on FB and she is constantly updating her health on FB and how many times she is in the hospital and all the tests she has had done. Ugh... I don't understand the mindset of people who do this. It is beyond bizarre.
