hosts interrupt a guest trying to explain their product. Today the gentleman from Roberta's flowers was trying to explain how to plant the bulbs and Rick Domeier kept interrupting him.  Just when the guest was explaining if the buls were perennial or anuuals and would be ok for northern temperatures where it freezes, Rick interruped and they both were talking at the same time.  Never did find out f I could use the bulbs in Michigan. So many of the hosts do this.

All the hosts interrupt but Rick is one of the worst.  However, the Roberta's reps give so much misinformation, it hardly matters.  Buy local.

Re: I can't believe how often

This is an old but valid complaint.  It's called rude and unprofessional.  If you ask the vendor to walk you through as they say or explain something about their product then let them do so.  Many hosts don't and in fact find excuses to interrupt with tiresome and repetitive selling points.  I shop on the Q site to avoid these hosts.  They have never influenced my choices ow what to buy so I do not need their input.

I especially cringe when the hosts interrupt guests and vendors to give product updates such as so many thousands of items are "flying out the door" or "red is all sold out!"

Yes, annoys me to no end as well. Jane T is one of worst for this.  Hardly lets vendor get a word in and constantly interrupts when said vendor is trying to give info about product just to give the ridiculous number updates.

I seldom watch QVC anymore partly because of the reason mentioned above.  As I've said more than once, eliminate the hosts entirely and let the vendor sell his/her product.

Re: I can't believe how often

It is annoying and ITA, it happens way too often.  I do have to give some hosts the benefit of the doubt though.  I think they are constantly being told in their ear to "move on"......maybe the people in their ear should get the boot instead of some hosts.

Re: I can't believe how often

It's getting worse & worse, and it's not just Rick [who I like as a host].  Sandra Bennett does it all the time in her new garden shows, and so many of the other hosts do it in many different shows.

It has become more noticeable this year especially.  The whole hyper-mode of selling and interrupting has been amped up.  I used to think last year that it was because of Skype issues and the delay of a couple of seconds between what the host hears and the vendor responding.  But they should be used to that now. Some of the hosts over talk at the very worst time.

At times it's almost comical with both host and off-site presenter talking - at length - simultaneously. It's like they can't hear each other, or one is trying to steam-roll the other.  Like children!
