Re: I can't access the forums on this website when I click on QVC Community nothing happens

Hi, ladies!Smile I just tried Firefox (32.0.3), Safari (7.1) and Chrome (37.0.2062.124).

I went to the QVC home page, clicked QVC Community, then clicked Forums. No problems. (iMac, and I tried it with Safari on my iPad 3rd generation and iPhone 5, too.)

I noticed QVC made a few changes to the site, and every time that happens it causes a problem with browsers.

It's likely if you'll delete cookies, cache, website data and relaunch the browser it'll fix the problem.

I'm using Chrome, and the only two things I can click on are ToGather and Blogs. If you click on Blogs, it will take you to the Blog page, then go to the top left where it says Community in big red letters, and just above that in small red letters, click on Community...it will take you to the usual page where you can choose forums.

I sent feedback about this today and told them I have to go in through the "back door" !Smile

Hi, kittymom! Do you have the newest version of Chrome (mine shows v. 37.0.2062.124) and did you delete cookies, cache and hosted app data?

The website's working normally when I use Chrome on my Mac.

I've been using Chrome lately and I didn't have a problem with it. Just now tried it.

Hi dooBdoo....you know how tech-challenged I am! If I knew how to find out what version I have, I'd be glad to tell you...{#emotions_dlg.w00t} How do I check that? I have never done anything about cookies, etc. Although a couple of weeks ago a McAfee rep cleaned up all that, then took my McAfee off my computer thinking it would fix something when she put it back...except she couldn't figure out how to get it back on using Chrome! So now I have Webroot! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Re: I can't access the forums on this website when I click on QVC Community nothing happens

I wanted to add:

When the problem lies in the various browsers, I'm sorry to say it will take much longer if you wait for the website to make changes even if you send reports to them. We've been down this well-worn path many times. They expect the users to do the cookies, cache and data "housekeeping" on their respective browsers. I go through the process at least once a day, and I can attest to the fact that doing so will help you avoid problems.

It's quick and easy!

"About Google Chrome" (click the word Chrome on the top menu bar) will show you your version number.

To clear things out: On the Chrome menu bar, look at the drop-down menu under the word "Chrome" and choose "Clear Browsing Data." Then, in the pop-up box, check these 3 boxes:

Cookies and other site and plug-in data

Cached images and files

Hosted app data

Then click on the box below the selections, the one that says "Clear Browsing Data." Then, you might want to quit Chrome (again, in the drop-down menu under the word Chrome) and relaunch it. And try QVC again.
