Re: I am on Wedding Overload

I wish the happy couple well, but after 3 days of the Royal Wedding, I'm done!

Re: I am on Wedding Overload

There are thirteen threads on the first page about it.  That even tops last week, so not everyone is over it.

Re: I am on Wedding Overload

I'm in Canada and I hope we can claim Meghan as our own as she lived in Toronto for 7 years while filming "Suits". This is a long holiday weekend here as today is Victoria Day Monday. My sister came up from the states to visit me and we stayed up all night long (so did my husband) to watch the royal wedding. We didn't get to bed until 6 am PT!

I'm not burned out, I have been looking at all the photos of the wedding and details of the dresses and accessories that Meghan wore!

Funny, just before I sat down in front of the computer, I watched the bride's entrance/processional again.

I give it three years tops....a "feminist' under British rule will not stand the test of time.  Good luck Harry.

One can only hope it lasts at least as long as what appears to be the never ending discussion of them on these boards...

Re: I am on Wedding Overload

There were many layers of depth to the wedding, and I am enjoying having a deeper sense of it.  I loved the reference to "There is a Balm in Gilead" and have been listening to different inspiring interpretations of it.  I used to sing it in my high school Concert Choir years and years ago.  It brought back many wonderful memories as well as hope for today.
