So good to hear about a kind soul. Wishing you well with your new furbaby.

Thanks, everyone!

Kinzee is doing quite well. She gets along great with my other cats, is eating and playing, uses the litter box (thank goodness!) and talks a whole bunch at me. She lets me pet her, but doesn't "come" to me. When I find her lying somewhere, I pet her.

It can only get better with time!

I'm glad Kinzee is settling in just fine. She'll probably get less skittish as time goes on, but at least she doesn't freak out when you try to pet her. That's great that she's using the litterbox too. Smile

I'm so happy that your precious little girl is thriving!Smile

I have no doubt that before too long she'll be letting you cuddle her!{#emotions_dlg.w00t}

I was feeding/caring for a pretty blue eyed siamese that appeared on my porch. I discovered that she would be having kittens soon, so I put an igloo house on my porch. I already had an indoor cat that would have a fit if another cat got near her. Well, this siamese had four solid black babies in the igloo. One week later the mom was killed by a car. My DH made a large cage, and we brought the kittens inside. My vet had us feed them mothers replace formula with syringes. They thrived, and when they could eat on their own we found special homes for two of them, and we kept the other two. My son was ready to leave home and he took his cat that did not like other cats. That was 15 years ago, and we still have one. Sadly, our other one developed cancer and has been gone over a year. I call them Sugarbears. They had so much love, what a joy.

I really enjoy hearing about other people's cats and their stories - thanks for sharing!
