A question for those people that see these shootings talked about on TV and want gun control, as guns are evil, what do you think about gas pipes in houses?

I have seen so many houses that have blown to bits over leaky gas lines, yet we don't see a call for stopping the usage of gas in private homes or businesses.

Both are rare occurances and both are deadly.

I wonder if the news and TV shows talked about the homes blowing up from gas explosions as much as the shootings, if it would have people afraid to buy homes with gas?
